Job Description

A leading national firm at the intersection of law and technology is looking for a Marketing & Communications Specialist to join their in-house team. This is a full-time opportunity supporting a highly regarded team focused on data privacy, information governance, and tech-driven legal services. You'll be reporting directly to the head of marketing and playing a hands-on role in managing internal and external communications, digital content, branding, and events.

What You'll Do:

  • Own and execute the firm's social media content and digital strategy
  • Draft and edit bios, press releases, newsletters, marketing collateral, and award submissions
  • Maintain and update the firm's website and CRM contact lists
  • Support the development of pitch materials, presentations, and thought leadership content
  • Coordinate webinars, speaking engagements, and in-person events
  • Design visuals and digital assets to reflect the firm's brand
  • Help onboard new team members with marketing materials (bios, headshots, etc.)

What We're Looking For:

  • 4+ years of marketing/communications experience, in a legal environment
  • Excellent writing, proofreading, and project coordination skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines
  • Comfort using tools like Microsoft Office, CMS/CRM platforms, and shared team apps (like MS Teams)
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Comfortable working independently and directly with senior team members

Location:

This position is primarily remote, but candidates must be within commuting distance to Chantilly, VA for once-weekly onsite collaboration.
