📦 Now Hiring: Production Planner

📍 On-Site | Shelby Township, MI

💼 Full-Time | Contract Opportunity

💲 $27–$28 per hour

We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Production Planner to join our team and play a vital role in keeping our operations running smoothly. As a Production Planner , you’ll be responsible for coordinating the flow of materials, aligning schedules, and ensuring that customer orders are met with accuracy and efficiency.

🔧 What You’ll Do as a Production Planner:

• Plan and procure materials to support both production builds and direct customer orders
• Analyze manufacturing goals and schedule accordingly based on capacity, urgency, and material availability
• Utilize JD Edwards ERP system to manage inventory and avoid material shortages
• Maintain accurate inventory and support the smooth movement of work orders through the facility
• Monitor vendor performance and drive on-time delivery through proactive follow-up
• Oversee MRO ordering for the facility and assist in optimizing supply chain operations

🧠 What We’re Looking For in a Production Planner:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 1+ year of experience in procurement or planning in a manufacturing or installation environment
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• ERP/MRP system experience required (JD Edwards preferred)
• Clear communication skills and strong attention to detail
