Job Description

The Process/Manufacturing Engineer II is responsible for driving improvements and achieving company goals by managing projects, supporting operations, and collaborating with various business functions. Key responsibilities include:

• Leading capital and process improvement projects from concept to implementation.
• Integrating new production technologies with MES, SCADA, and ERP systems.
• Supporting Production, Maintenance, and IT operations.
• Improving safety, quality, productivity, and delivery across departments.
• Mentoring and developing team members.
• Designing processes that comply with safety laws.
• Communicating project progress to company leadership.
• Traveling to other manufacturing sites as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or 7+ years in a technical/manufacturing role.
• Experience with manufacturing and assembly processes; wood industry experience preferred.
• Lean manufacturing, value stream mapping, and industrial automation expertise.
• Familiarity with CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and programming languages (e.g., C#, Python, SQL).
• Strong communication, analytical, and teamwork skills.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and travel between facilities.
• Physical tasks like stooping, kneeling, and climbing are required.

The role demands a proactive, detail-oriented engineer who can manage projects independently, drive continuous improvement, and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
