Job Description

Manufacturing Engineer

LHH is seeking an innovative and results-driven Manufacturing Engineer to join a leading manufacturing organization! This is an exciting opportunity for an engineering professional eager to drive process improvements, enhance production efficiency, and support operational excellence in a fast-paced environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and safety.
  • Identify opportunities for cost reduction, cycle time improvements, and automation within production systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including design, quality, and operations—to implement process improvements and resolve production issues.
  • Analyze production data to identify trends, root causes of defects, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for manufacturing processes, standard operating procedures, and work instructions.
  • Support the introduction of new products and equipment by assisting with planning, tooling design, and process validation.
  • Ensure manufacturing processes comply with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role, preferably within a high-volume production environment.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality systems, and lean principles.
  • Proficient in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and manufacturing tools and equipment.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data and implement practical engineering solutions.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Experience with ERP systems and manufacturing documentation is a plus.

Employment Type: Full-time

Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401(k) plans

Hours: Monday through Friday

Salary: $70,000 to $85,000/year, based on experience
