Job Description

This position is with a global industrial solutions provider supporting a wide range of manufacturing and R&D applications. The Bilingual Japanese Sales Executive will be responsible for developing and managing B2B sales channels, working with distributors and end users across technical industries such as electronics, materials processing, and general manufacturing.

The ideal candidate is fluent in both English and Japanese, has strong communication and sales skills, and is comfortable managing relationships across cultures. This is a customer-facing role that includes travel, strategic planning, and long-term account development. The position offers growth potential, international exposure, and a chance to contribute to business expansion in the U.S. market.

[Responsibilities]

  • Conduct B2B sales to U.S.-based companies, primarily in technical and manufacturing industries
  • Promote and sell filtration products, including filter cartridges and system-related equipment
  • Coordinate meetings with clients, distributors, and internal technical teams
  • Train sales distributors and participate in joint client visits (factories, R&D centers, etc.)
  • Prospect new distributors and perform cold calling to build the partner network
  • Identify and research new customers and sales opportunities via distributors
  • Attend trade shows and industry events to gather market intelligence and promote products
  • Conduct market research using online resources and trade publications
  • Support translation and interpretation duties as needed
  • Attend weekly internal sales meetings and provide updates on market trends and pipeline progress
  • Submit weekly reports on forecasted sales volume and revenue
  • Develop annual sales targets and submit progress reports on sales activity
  • Travel for sales visits and exhibitions approximately 1–2 times/month (3–5 days per trip)

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Native-level English fluency
  • Business-level Japanese proficiency required
  • Valid driver’s license required

[Preferred Qualifications]

  • Understanding of Japanese business culture
  • Sales experience in consumables for semiconductor or industrial manufacturing clients
  • Prior experience in filter or industrial equipment sales
  • Familiarity with international trade practices and logistics

[Compensation & Benefits]

  • $70,000–$75,000/year (Depending on Experience)
  • Full-time, exempt position
  • Hybrid work schedule (minimum 2 days/week in-office)
  • Business travel: 1–2 trips/month (3–5 days per trip)
  • Work Hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
  • Paid Time Off (PTO): 12 days/year
