POSITION: General Manager

DEPARTMENT: Operations

STATUS: Full-time

LOCATION: Boise, ID

REPORTING: The General Manager reports directly to the Owner

The General Manager position is a compelling role for highly-engaged Management Professionals passionate about making a lasting impact in children’s lives through engaging educational experiences. The General Manager (GM) will lead a dynamic team of directors and instructors focused on growing kids through meaningful and fun learning experiences. A Day in the Life

Daily tasks include managing operations, collaborating with directors and instructors, interfacing with families, holding meetings, supporting marketing and community outreach efforts, and overseeing program delivery. You will lead on-site staff and maintain regular business operations while reporting to ownership.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations, ensuring alignment with brand standards and safety protocols
  • Maintain facilities and equipment at high standards
  • Implement operational policies and best practices
  • Ensure effective delivery of educational programs and activities

  • Recruit, train, and motivate a diverse team

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in business, education, child development, or related field
  • Proven management experience, ideally in children’s enrichment, education, fitness, or related industries

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to change
  • Passion for working with children and families

WORKING CONDITIONS

Position requires qualified individuals to see, hear and speak (verbally and audibly). Required to ascend and descend stairs; sit, stand, lift, bend, stoop, crawl and kneel. The employee must also use hands to finger, handle or feel. Occasionally reaching with hands and arms, climbing or balancing are required. Required to drive company car and travel by car, air and other transportation (including rail) for business purposes.

  • Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds
  • Must be able to function effectively in a loud, fast-paced working environment
  • Natural and regular stressors occur on the job.
  • Must report to work unimpaired
  • Must be current on Criminal and Child Clearances
  • Must possess a valid driver's license
  • Must be able to operate a vehicle and submit a clean three-year driving history report
