Job Function:

We are seeking a detail-oriented, passionate, and creative Events Manager to lead the planning and execution of high-end weddings at Goodstone Inn & Restaurant. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, deeply appreciates luxury hospitality, and enjoys delivering personalized experiences for couples on their special day.

You’ll manage all aspects of the wedding planning process—from initial inquiry to the final toast—while ensuring each event is flawlessly executed and aligned with Goodstone’s exceptional standards.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all wedding planning, coordination, and execution, including pre-event planning, on-site management, and post-event follow-up
  • Lead client communications with a strong focus on relationship-building, responsiveness, and hospitality
  • Conduct site tours and consultations with prospective couples and planners
  • Create and manage detailed Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and timelines for each wedding
  • Coordinate logistics with vendors, internal departments (kitchen, service, guest services), and clients
  • Train and supervise event staff to ensure high standards of service and professionalism
  • Collaborate with marketing on wedding content, styled shoots, and online presence
  • Work closely with sales and guest services to manage group room blocks and event space allocations
  • Ensure accurate billing, payment processing, and final reconciliation with clients
  • Identify and implement opportunities to upsell enhancements such as floral packages, decor, or experiences
  • Maintain strong relationships with local vendors and participate in networking events to promote Goodstone as a premier wedding destination

Preferred Skills & Experience:

  • 2+ years of experience planning or managing luxury weddings or similar high-end events
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills
  • Strong leadership and team development skills
  • Experience with TripleSeat, Maestro, or similar event/hospitality software is a plus
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure and maintain a guest-first attitude
  • Creative eye for details, design, and personalized touches
  • Flexibility to work weekends and evenings during peak wedding season

Additional Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods, including climbing stairs
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States

Benefits & Perks:

  • Full benefits start on day 61 (medical, dental, vision, etc.)
  • 401(k) with match after one year
  • Paid vacation and sick time
  • Bonus and referral programs
  • Opportunity to work at one of Loudoun County’s most picturesque wedding venues
