Data Analyst – Market & Economic Research

Delta Dallas is partnering with a forward-thinking organization seeking a Data Analyst to join their team. This role is focused on researching market trends, economic conditions, and demographic shifts—translating complex data into clear, impactful reports, dashboards, and visualizations that inform strategic decisions.

What You’ll Do

  • Analyze key market sectors using public data, proprietary tools, and subscription-based resources.
  • Compile and interpret labor, demographic, and economic data for internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Conduct comparative analysis across regional and national markets.
  • Manage and update Salesforce records related to market activity and business engagement.
  • Create custom dashboards, maps, and presentations to support strategic initiatives and outreach.
  • Maintain a database of commercial real estate listings and leasing activity.
  • Deliver regular reports on market trends and tenant movement to senior leadership.

What We’re Looking For

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Economics, Urban Planning, Real Estate, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in market research, commercial real estate analysis, or economic development.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in Excel, Power BI or Tableau, and CRM systems (Salesforce preferred).
  • Familiarity with GIS tools like ArcGIS or QGIS is a plus.
  • Strong ability to collect, query, and interpret data from diverse sources.

Soft Skills:

  • Detail-oriented with excellent data visualization and storytelling abilities.
  • Effective communicator, comfortable presenting insights across teams.
  • Self-starter with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects.
