Job Description

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 3-10 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent
  • Ability to operate equipment such as scissor lifts, forklifts, and boom lifts
  • Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project documents
  • Basic knowledge of project management software
  • Experience working on fast paced tenant improvement (T.I.) projects, remodels, or refresh projects in the commercial space

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

  • Experience with retail and restaurant projects

Job Description:

The Construction Superintendent is responsible for executing construction projects by effectively organizing, planning, and overseeing all project tasks. This role involves conducting quality inspections and supervising all project personnel, including staff and subcontractors.

This person will be responsible for on-site oversight with coordinating all activities on the construction site. They will monitor on-site safety compliance and maintain cleanliness and orderliness. They will be the primary contact for inspection authorities and facilitating approvals and inspections. They will coordinate the delivery of materials and equipment on-site. They will be responsible for hiring sub-contractors as needed and assign to work projects.

There is a current project in Nashua, NH so they will be mostly operating out of that location, but 90% travel nationwide will be required after completion of this project.

Compensation :

$125K/yr to $135K/yr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
