POSITION OVERVIEW

The Asset Manager position within the Special Servicing department will work closely with the Special Servicing Manager and other team members in the day-to-day management and resolution of specialty serviced assets.

PRIMARY DUTIES

• Analyze property operations and review of property level financials (e.g. Rent Rolls, Operating Statement, budgets and bank statements)
• Perform comprehensive analysis and of loan collateral dynamics and value determination
• Conduct market analysis and research on assigned loans
• Engage the services of and interact with third-party consultants including attorneys, brokers, receivers, management/leasing companies, and appraisers
• Prepare quarterly Asset Status Reports and cash flow projections

REQUISITES

• 3+ years of commercial real estate experience, preferably in asset management, servicing, or lending
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Accounting or related field is required. Advanced degrees and/or qualifications (e.g. MBA, MAI, CCIM, CFA) are a strong plus
• Competency in property types including office, industrial, retail, multifamily, self-storage and student housing
• Must possess excellent communication skills (written & verbal) with the ability to present ideas in a clear and concise manner
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams and PowerPoint
• Strong analytical, research and reporting skills
• Ability to work independently within a team-oriented environment
• Disciplined and highly motivated self-starter
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining an extremely high attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders
• Highly motivated individual with a strong, disciplined work ethic
